Untitled (After Pozzo) was inspired by Andrea Pozzo´s masterpiece painting in the church of St. Ignatius in Rome. In this fresco, the viewer can see an allegory of the Apotheosis of St. Ignatius in which hundreds of figures have been painted as if floating in mid-air. Untitled (After Pozzo)similarly represents subjects from below, floating in mid-air. In this case, fiber optic technology projects the figures into space.
