Travesías is a large-scale video installation sculpture, which was initially conceived for and exhibited at the headquarters of the Council of the European Union in Brussels. For the Canal Isabel II exhibition space, an old water tower, the wave-like screen is suspended in the central shaft of the tower, unfolding vertically. This long and narrow sculptural piece resembles a winding path on which images appear and disappear. The video depicts micro-narratives or actions, possible metaphors for the obstacles, conquests, risks and pleasure that every human being encounters over the course of life.
