Synaptic Passage is a monumentally-sized immersive installation created specially for "Brain: The Inside Story" at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The shifting patterns of light projected onto over 500 kilos of repurposed cables evoke the nonstop communication that occurs among the brain's dense, tangled forest of 100 billion, interconnected neurons.
