Coil is an LED sculptural installation which helix shape invites the spectator to explore the piece from different angles. The moving images that cover the curved surface of the sculptural screen evoke abstract electrical patterns that play with pixels as it is the digital image's essential form. The artwork also pretends to imply a connection to textile weaving, a fundamental reference in the author'a latest pieces. Coil constructs the image as sculpture, breaks the flat and rectangular video frame to invade the exhibition space in a tridimensional way.
